In early 2017 VIA were approached by the Masonic Charitable Foundation to inform us we had been put forward for an online voting grant by the Dorset region as part of their ter-centenary celebrations. The online vote was held and VIA were lucky enough to be awarded £25,000 for our new project V-EX OVERALND.
The aim of the Build Phase of the project is to strip and build a minimum of 3 Land Rovers to expedition standard, 1 Land Rover Defender and 2 Land Rover Discovery’s with perhaps a third Discovery being added at a later date.
Please follow link to see the progress of the vehicle build and don’t forget to like and subscribe to our channel to keep updated.
All the work on the vehicles will be undertaken by veterans and serving personnel over a yearlong period to ready them for Phase 2 of the project which will be an overland expedition that will be manned by veterans who have suffered the effects of war alongside V-EX team members.
As a separate part of the project the V-EX team will be filming all aspects of the build which will become part of a You Tube series of films leading up the expedition which will set off on September 01st 2018.
